Another quick appetizer born of necessity for an easy "filler" while putting together more complicated recipes.
Ingredients:
1 pkg commercial mini toasts
butter to spread on "toasts"
8oz goat cheese
4 oz mascarpone cheese
milk to thin cheese mixture
1T truffle paste
salt to taste
Directions:
Butter the mini toasts and place in a 375 degree oven to slightly brown. Mix the softened cheeses with the truffle paste and if it seems too heavy to use in a pastry bag, add a small amout of milk to thin it out. Add salt to taste, then place in a pastry bag and squeeze onto mini toasts.
