Orange Balsamic Cranberry Sauce

Alright, I admit it, I couldn't wait to try another cranberry sauce recipe but this time using Balsamfrutta Orange flavored balsamic vinegar along with white balsamic vinegar. I was hoping for a brighter color, but it just didn't happen.

Ingredients:
6C (2 bags) of fresh cranberries
2C white balsamic vinegar
2 1/2C sugar
juice of 1 medium orange
Zest of one medium orange
1/2C Balsamfrutta orange flavored vinegar

Directions:
Mix the sugar and white balsamic and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
Add cranberries, then the juice and the orange zest and once again bring to a boil. Reduce the mixture by boiling for 20 minutes, then crush with an imersion blender until chunky or smooth as you wish. Add the balsamic and bring back to a rolling boil for 5 more minutes. Place into sterilized jars, add lids and caps, then boil in a water bath for 15 minutes.

This recipe makes 3 pints of cranberry sauce.
